We’re not your typical therapy practice.

A Letter From Our Founders

To Our Community,

When we envisioned Threshold Experiential Therapy, we wanted to create more than just another therapy practice. We wanted to build a community—one that reflects the same values of authenticity, connection, and shared humanity that we bring into the therapy room.

A Dedication to Experiential Therapy
We are unique in that our practice is singularly focused on the practice of experiential therapy. We believe that healing happens not just through insight, but through lived experience—moments of emotional truth, embodied awareness, and connection that transform how we relate to ourselves and others. Experiential therapy invites us to move beyond talking about our lives and invites us to live in a new way—beginning right in this present moment.

Why a Cooperative?
We intentionally designed Threshold Experiential Therapy as a worker-owned cooperative. As therapists who are also owners of our group practice, we co-create a business that serves the needs of our community while offering a sense of belonging, inspiration, and meaning to our clinicians. By sharing ownership, we engage in collective decision-making and mutual responsibility while supporting each other’s growth as therapists and as human beings. This model allows us to to engage in work as it’s meant to be—joyfully, collaboratively, and with integrity.

At Threshold, we are committed to creating spaces where both therapists and clients can cross the boundaries of what was and step into what’s possible—with presence, courage, and compassion.

With warmth,
The Founders of Threshold Experiential Therapy— Jeremy Andersen, Kelly Flaherty, Ryan McArdle and Jamie Samowitz
